Drawing inspiration from deep-sea navigational instruments, we engineered this custom marine single hand watch around a multi-layered gradient blue dial face. Specifically, a sunburst finish transitions smoothly from bright central blue to dark oceanic perimeter tones to optimize visual contrast. Simultaneously, twelve fixed hourly apertures positioned along the outer track frame clear numerical readouts. Consequently, integrated Super-LumiNova coatings across the indices and aperture frames ensure continuous low-light legibility on the wrist.

Compass-Style Single Hand Complication and Automatic Caliber Integration

Where conventional diver watches rely on standard three-hand layouts, we engineered an unconventional compass-inspired complication for this custom marine single hand watch. Therefore, a single central minute hand sweeps continuously across the dial track to mimic marine navigation needles while hour discs rotate beneath the dial plane. In fact, an in-house modified automatic mechanical caliber powers both the central hand train and hour disc indexing with steady torque stability. As a result, the display presents an intuitive single-hand readout alongside steady daily rate accuracy.

Meanwhile, our machining facility houses the assembly within a solid 316L stainless steel case featuring alternating polished and brushed surfaces. Additionally, micro-sculpted ship-wheel and anchor-chain relief patterns are laser-etched along the case flanks to reinforce the maritime aesthetic without compromising structural rigidity. Simultaneously, protective sapphire crystal shields the gradient dial surface against daily wear. Turn the watch over, and the exhibition caseback reveals movement bridges and automatic rotor winding.
