Engineered as a custom jumping hour watch, this model features a brushed metal dial inspired by vintage racing dashboards. Specifically, a 12 o’clock digital jumping hour window pairs with a 6 o’clock rotating minute disc beneath sapphire crystal.
Drawing inspiration from vintage racing dashboard instruments, we engineered this custom jumping hour watch around a minimalist brushed metal dial face. Specifically, a circular brushed steel surface replaces traditional hour hands and dial indices. Simultaneously, a vertical dual-window steel bezel frames two separated readout apertures. Consequently, the overall layout combines clean industrial aesthetics with a streamlined racing instrument silhouette on the wrist.
Where standard sports watches rely on central sweeping hands, we engineered a separated two-tier display for this custom jumping hour watch. Therefore, a circular window at 12 o’clock reveals digital hours via an instantaneous jumping disc mechanism. In fact, a matching window at 6 o’clock displays continuous minutes through a rotating disc styled after tachometer gauges. As a result, the dynamic jumping hour action paired with continuous minute rotation offers clear legibility without dial clutter.
Meanwhile, powering this dual-disc display is a modified Miyota 8215 caliber engineered by our movement modification facility. Additionally, by integrating our proprietary jumping hour module, we kept the movement assembly profile at a slim 6 mm. Simultaneously, this 21-jewel caliber operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz) with a stable 40-hour power reserve. Turn the watch over, and the exhibition caseback reveals movement bridges and automatic rotor winding.
