
Based on the Miyota 9015 caliber, we engineered this skeletonized automatic movement. Specifically, precision-cut bridges reveal internal gear trains and jewel bearings while maintaining an ultra-thin 3.9mm profile and 28,800 vph frequency. Simultaneously, brushed surface finishing ensures clean visual depth beneath open dials.
Drawing inspiration from technical horological engineering, we designed this modified Miyota 9015 movement around a skeletonized plate structure. Specifically, watchmakers precision-cut the mainplate and bridges to expose internal gear trains, escapement mechanics, and synthetic ruby jewels. Simultaneously, this openwork architecture reveals mechanical operation from both dial and transparent caseback views. Consequently, the modified caliber offers structural transparency alongside high-beat mechanical timekeeping.
Where traditional skeleton builds often increase case bulk, this modified 9015 caliber maintains a slim profile of just 3.9mm. Therefore, watch brands can house the mechanism inside sleek case designs without compromising daily wear proportions. In fact, we apply brushed surface textures paired with chamfered edges across the visible bridge boundaries. As a result, the caliber delivers a clean industrial appearance suited for modern minimalist or dress watch lines.
Meanwhile, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), the movement provides smooth central sweeping seconds and a 42-hour power reserve. Additionally, hacking seconds and manual hand-winding functions support precise time-setting during operation. Simultaneously, our in-house quality control team inspects every modified assembly for rate accuracy and mainspring torque stability. Turn the movement over, and the custom winding rotor operates smoothly along its central axis.
