Scupltural Fencing Relief and Blue Sunburst Dial Layout

Drawing inspiration from athletic sports geometry, we engineered this custom wandering hour watch around a three-dimensional relief structure. Specifically, two hand-finished silver fencer figures engage in a duel across a deep blue sunburst dial. Simultaneously, a vertical 00-60 minute scale runs directly through the center, aligned with the swordsmen’s blades. Consequently, the overall layout merges sculptural metal hand-finishing with clean horological symmetry on the wrist.

Where standard dress watches utilize central hands, we engineered a separated two-tier display for this custom wandering hour watch. Therefore, the opposing fencing foils frame a central vertical ladder scale to track continuous minutes from 00 to 60. In fact, upon reaching the 60th minute mark, the retrograde indicator mechanism resets instantaneously to restart its vertical sweep. As a result, the dynamic retrograde motion paired with the 6 o’clock rotating wandering-hour disk delivers an intuitive sports-themed mechanical reading method without cluttering the main display.

Meanwhile, powering this dual-complication mechanism is a modified automatic movement engineered to drive both the central scale train and the wandering hour disk. Additionally, protective sapphire crystal shields the raised 3D fencer sculptures and multi-layer dial against daily wear. Simultaneously, integrated leather or rubber straps ensure balanced distribution across the wrist. Turn the watch over, and the exhibition caseback reveals movement plate finishing and automatic rotor winding.
