Fencing Architecture and Dial Sculpting

Drawing inspiration from the precise geometry of modern fencing, we engineered this sport-themed timepiece with a focus on tactile relief art. Specifically, at the dial’s center, two hand-finished silver fencers engage in a poised bout over a radiant blue background. Simultaneously, this rich blue surface catches ambient light to accentuate the dynamic physical lines of both figures. Consequently, the overall layout combines athletic narrative with clean horological symmetry on the wrist.

Where traditional watches utilize central sweeping seconds, we converted the fencers’ blades into twin retrograde seconds hands. Therefore, the dual blades advance across a 120-degree lower arc before snapping back to zero every 60 seconds, mirroring a rapid fencing attack and retreat. In fact, at 6 o’clock, a dynamic wandering-hour window displays the current hour digit through a smooth, rolling sequence. As a result, the two complications deliver constant kinetic energy without cluttering the main display.

Meanwhile, beneath these dual complications lies our modified automatic mechanical movement, engineered to drive both retrograde and rolling hour modules with steady rate stability. Additionally, we housed the assembly within a polished 316L stainless steel case, offering high structural durability and clean side profiles. Simultaneously, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a supple black genuine leather strap complete the build, ensuring comfortable, balanced daily wear.
