Engineered as a custom retrograde watch, this model features cockpit gauge-inspired arc scales on a midnight blue dial beneath sapphire crystal. Specifically, twin retrograde hands track hours and minutes, powered by a modified 5.6mm Miyota 9015 movement. Simultaneously, a 316L steel case and blue leather strap ensure durable daily wear.
Drawing inspiration from vintage aircraft cockpit gauge instruments, we engineered this custom retrograde watch around a curved dual-track dial layout. Specifically, a matte midnight blue substrate mimics vintage enamel instrument panels. Simultaneously, dual color-coded arc scales—green for 0-60 minutes and yellow for 0-12 hours—separated by linear boundaries, optimize visual contrast. Consequently, twin retrograde hands sweep along independent paths before springing back to zero instantly upon reaching their terminal scales.
Where conventional timepieces rely on center-coaxial hands, we engineered a multi-tier indicator display for this custom retrograde watch. Therefore, a central rotating sub-second disc operates continuously at the focal pivot without interfering with the primary retrograde arcs. In fact, a circular date aperture positioned between 3 and 4 o’clock displays crisp numerical tracking beneath the main dial plane. As a result, the dial presents functional flight-instrument aesthetics alongside intuitive time reading.
Meanwhile, our engineering team developed a specialized double-retrograde module integrated onto a Miyota 9015 mechanical platform. Additionally, despite adding retrograde spring mechanisms, our facility capped total movement module thickness at just 5.6mm. Simultaneously, the 24-jewel automatic movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) while maintaining a 40-hour power reserve. Turn the watch over, and the exhibition caseback reveals movement bridge finishing and automatic rotor winding.
