Miyota 9015 Caliber and Moonphase Complication Integration

Drawing inspiration from classic multi-function horological layouts, we engineered this modified Miyota 9015 automatic movement around a calendar and moonphase architecture. Specifically, watchmakers integrate a specialized lunar sub-dial at the 6 o’clock position to display continuous moonphase cycles. Simultaneously, this modification maintains the original 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) frequency and 42-hour power reserve. Consequently, the movement delivers multi-function capability alongside steady rate stability.

Grand Calendar Display and Four-Hand Configuration

Where standard calibers offer only simple date windows, we engineered a comprehensive calendar layout indicating weekday, date, and month displays. Therefore, a four-hand central and sub-dial configuration ensures quick readability across all tracking functions. In fact, hacking seconds and manual hand-winding functions support precise time-setting during operation. As a result, the modified caliber provides structured functionality suited for executive or heritage dress watch lines.

Core Specifications and Exhibition Caseback Finishing

Meanwhile, the bidirectional automatic winding rotor efficiently charges the mainspring through everyday wrist motion. Additionally, the enlarged circular movement layout integrates cleanly inside standard mid-size watch cases. Simultaneously, refined surface finishing across the bridges and signed rotor elevates visual presentation under transparent casebacks.
